Due to the spread of remote work caused by the COVID-19 pandemic and the rapid development of AI, companies are required to quickly achieve business growth and adapt to their environments, necessitating the urgent resolution of challenges such as digital transformation and new business development. However, companies with a certain scale or history face the problem of being unable to promote their businesses with the appropriate sense of speed due to various issues.
Toshiyuki Okamura, the representative of JRCE, who witnessed this situation, established the IDX department by leveraging JRCE's high-quality systems that have supported Nisshinbo HD's manufacturing, as well as his experience in co-creating various projects with external partners in the Digital Business Promotion Office of Nisshinbo HD.
The unique combination of JRCE's stability and the speed of its strongly startup-oriented external partners has led the IDX department to once again aspire to revive Japan as a manufacturing powerhouse.
Toshiyuki Okamura, the representative of JRC Engineering Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as JRCE), was the former head of the Digital Business Promotion Office at Nisshinbo Holdings, where he launched multiple new businesses with high synergy in the business portfolio held by the holdings, including healthcare, maritime safety, disaster prevention, and entertainment, achieving certain results towards monetization through co-creation with external partners.

Decision to exhibit at SXSW 2025
Proposing next-generation solutions centered around emotion analysis AI at "SXSW2025".
We will present innovative solutions co-created with Emotional Technologies Inc. and KDDI Corporation at SXSW 2025, one of the largest creative conferences in the world, held in Texas, USA. This project will utilize Emotional Technologies' emotion analysis AI technology to propose new solution services. We are also seeking partner companies to co-create innovative ideas.

Exhibited at "COMNEXT 2024"
At "COMNEXT 2024" held at Tokyo Big Sight from June 26 to 28, 2024, our company JRCE exhibited as part of the "Next Generation Communication Technology Utilization Startup Support Project (Tokyo NEXT 5G Boosters Project)" where we serve as development promoters, showcasing the innovative services of the startups we support.
At our booth, we created opportunities to interact with many visitors through technology displays from the supported companies. We also introduced initiatives aimed at creating beneficial services that contribute to the improvement of the quality of life for Tokyo residents and enhancing the corporate value of the supported companies. In particular, we focused on realizing the smart city concept as a next-generation urban area, showcasing a vision based on next-generation communication technologies utilizing 5G and Beyond 5G. We explained to visitors the potential of new urban infrastructure created by the fusion of technologies from multiple startup companies.
The exhibition also led to new connections with potential collaborators, serving as a catalyst to accelerate efforts toward sustainable urban development. We will continue to support the technological development and business expansion of various companies and promote initiatives aimed at realizing smart cities.
